Char: "Easton, would you rather play with me or watch T.V?"
Easton: "Play with you."

Char: "Easton would you rather play with me or your friends?"
Easton: "Play with you."

Char: "Would you rather play with me or eat cake?"
Easton: pause. "Eat cake with you?"

foggy fall morning...

Easton:

"Mom, it is really soggy out here and my breath is smoking."

I just remembered this one...

a few months ago Easton's friend asked him if he could have a drink of his water and Easton said he didn't want to share because the straw "has his guts on it."

Derek is soooooo funny!

char: (can never make a decision and asking for input) "Honey, what would you do if you were me?
derek: "well, I would be indecisive."

another example...

char: "when was the first time you went on an airplane?"
derek: "I think it was in high school with my neighbor."
char: "where did you go?"
derek: "Um, into the sky."

Easton: "Mom, come and look what your son did."

Me: I am thinking oh crap. walking into my room to find... that Easton unloaded all the clothes out of the dryer form me and put them on my bed.
"Wow!"

Easton: "He did the laondry for you!" he even cleaned out the lint tray!

p.s. a 4-year old who does laundry is pretty amazing I must say, but when did "my son" start speaking in 3rd person???

After talking with Easton for a few minutes about death, the afterlife and so forth he paused in thought. A few seconds later he said this:

"Are we going to die before we have another baby?"

To which I replied:

"I hope not!"
